Our Story
The story of La Prima Restaurants began in 2013...
We were among the first to offer authentic Italian pizza and ingredients in Estonia, quickly gaining many fans. Our concept was to keep things simple, focusing on restaurant quality and authentic Italian flavors. We followed Northern Italy’s pizza traditions, ingredients, and dough recipes. That’s when we opened our first pizzeria on Gonsiori Street.
In 2015, we opened the La Prima Pizza Gonsiori pizzeria.
Our cozy pizzeria quickly became popular with both locals and visitors alike.
In 2019, we opened our flagship restaurant La Prima Pizza in Tallinn Old Town.
The Italian restaurant located on Müürivahe Street has earned both local and international recognition. In 2023, Italy awarded our Old Town restaurant the highest guest hospitality and food award, Ospitalita Italiana, given only to the best Italian restaurants worldwide.
In 2024, La Prima Pizza became La Prima Restaurants.
Although pizza remains close to our hearts, our restaurants have grown into something more than just great pizza places, so we decided to drop “Pizza” from our name.
In 2024, we opened a new seaside restaurant, La Prima Noble, in Noblessner.
This is a unique concept in the Baltics and Scandinavia, combining refined Italian seafood and tapas restaurant flavors. La Prima Noblessner Ristorante/Pescheria/Enoteca offers a unique selection of Southern Italian seafood as well as quality wine and cocktail menus.
